I have not had time to make posts on this blog, so we have created a new company blog at vinatta.wordpress.com

It will cover everything related to our Word of Mouth referral Web app at vinatta.com

Until next time :)

It is very easy to start an Incorporated company (“Aksjeselskap”) in Norway, as I discovered today.

My experience was probably extra easy because I am Norwegian, I cannot speak for other nationalities.

  • Get a template Document from bedin.no “Stiftelsesdokument for aksjeselskaper”
  • Decide who is the leader of the board and such.
  • Get hold of a Certified Accountant “Revisor” to approve and sign documents. As it turned out we asked our network for one and one very nice guy from www.balder-revisjon.no phoned back 3 minutes later and was in our office one hour after that helping us with the above mentioned document.
  • Get a company bank account in the nearest bank. You will need to turn up in person for this to work.
  • Register the company at www.altinn.no and in www.brreg.no
  • Deposit the start capital in the bank account (NOK 100 000, might get down to around NOK 30 000 later this year)
  • All set

Pretty neat and nearly all work done in a few hours.

Good luck starting an Incorporated Company in Norway!
